Hubby has now been declared 100% disabled by the VA. It comes with bittersweetness...he said, "I guess I am worse off than I thought." It was determined that he is 100% after evaluating his nerve damage due to diabetes and ability to work and his past history having had a stent put in and his having a mini-stroke.
He feels good about the help he is getting...and I will soon be able to go to the clinic for my medical needs too.
So good news about not good news...100%! Pondering this and the road ahead. Have to stay positive. That's me!
As you know, the "good" news about being classified as 100% disabled is that he will receive more compensation, which makes paying the bills a little easier. Although NOBODY wants to be told they are totally disabled! Hang in there . . .
ReplyDeleteThanks Lilly...yes, you get it...it's like, the help is much appreciated but the reasons you get the help means...he really NEEDS HELP! "HELP!" Thanks, hugs.
